My friend, Not So Average Mama, hosted a giveaway a couple of months ago for coconut oil. Honestly I didn’t know ANYTHING about coconut oil when she hosted the giveaway. Tropical Traditions was cool enough to send me a huge 32 ounce jar of Virgin Coconut Oil to try out! I was stoked when the package arrived. Sei tried it out making his famous homemade taco shells. I loved how they were so much less greasy than they are in vegetable oil.

The Virgin Coconut Oil Book answered ALL my questions about coconut oil. According to this book, virgin coconut oil can do so much!!- speed up metabolism, aid in weightloss, help with dry skin and so much more. It’s the healthier choice for cooking as well, so I have been using it. It’s healthier and it adds something to the taste of the food. SUPER GOOD!!

Raw coconut water vinegar would be my choice. I love to use coconut vinegar while preparing Asian dishes and salad dressings. Love the subtle flavor.

I have been using coconut oil on my dry skin and it’s doing a real good job.
I am trying the coconut oil to see if it can help to lower my cholesterol
I want to win the coconut flour. My hubby could bake some awesome goodies with it!

WOW!! I thought we’d already be past #139. So here I go again!
You know what I really like about TT’s VCO…. That they process it by HAND… no machines like most other VCO companies.. Perhaps that is what makes it so much better
