I’d like to give family an item that they could use and see on a regular basis so probably photos in a paperweight, mousepad, or calendar that sits on the desk year round.
I would have 12 month photo calendars printed for them.
For my father’s 80th birthday, there’s a picture of him about 10 yrs old dressed as a cowboy with hat, guns, boots, etc. that I would get blown up as a birthday gift for him.

my mom just had to put down her beloved dog of 13 years and I would love to capture a memory of her and her other furry daughter on a canvas for the holidays.
