Which do you prefer in a public bathroom:
Electric hand dryers
or
Paper towels
?????
See, I personally prefer paper towels because they dry better, period. I never have to wipe my hands on my jeans after using a paper towel. They are also faster than the hand dryer. But I know some people prefer paper towels because they use them to help keep their hands clean- by opening the door with them etc… I’ve caught my kids puke, etc… I don’t think about door handles. Sei does though… He’s a much bigger germaphobe than I am. But I also realize using paper towels means more trees die. I try to recycle extra thru out the week to make up for that… Ok, not really. I DO recycle though…
So, which do you choose – Paper towels or hand dryer?

I prefer to dry my hands with one of those high speed electric dryers. BUT there are too many people that don’t wash there hands at all, so I need a paper towel to open the door when I’m leaving the bathroom.

Ah ha… so you use both. I like the hand dryers if they actually work, but most of the time they don’t.
You’re right- there are a lot of peeps that don’t wash their hands. Eew.
I prefer towels unless they are the super,mega,ultra blow dryers.

I perfer towels and I use a towel to turn off faucets (if they have them) and to open the door.
I mean electricity uses product to produce it, just like trees. Too bad we don’t have bamboo farms here in the USA because we could have paper like towels made out of them, and they are a renewable source.
Paper Towels Baby! Gotta have them for the door handle. I AM an admitted germaphobe and maybe a little ocd ish.

I just use my jeans when I only have the option of the stupid dryer. Except the dryers aren’t so stupid if you spill and need to wash out an article of clothing cause they dry clothes better.

Paper towels. I know we’re supposed to prefer electric dyers to save trees, but the electric dryers are using energy which is using something else, possibly a non-renewable resource.
What glittersmama said. I like those high-speed dryers, but then want paper for the door. If it’s not available, I’ll hand sanitizer after to get the door germs off my hands.

Paper towels. But I do hate having to pick up 87,000 paper towels because no one can seem to actually hit the trash can when they “throw them away.” And I can’t leave that mess.
I’m the same way…. I also wipe off the counter. lol
I agree with j. You will have to try them when you come up here. We have them at the movie theater.

ditto omar and gm. most bathrooms here don’t have the second option. it’s hand dryer or nothing.
I like paper towels better, hands down.
