My parents are from Louisiana. My mom uses “Swampmama” for her email, etc… because of the swamps in La., etc…  My older sister uses Swampbaby. When I was picking my email name, etc… my mom wanted me to use Swampbaby2, but I’m more original than that and considering I have always been the troublemaker of the family I thought “Brat” was appropriate. That was over 10 years ago, so apparently it stuck. It was also my “screen name” when I met “The Badge” online. Being a Swampbrat pays off!
