I just joined a new TEXAS BLOGGERS FORUM. I’m not sure how many of my readers are from Texas… Most of the ones I have met are in Utah, Washington, etc… But I still wanted to pass on the info. This is a great place for TEXAS BLOGGERS to come together and get to know one another. I’ve had fun reading thru the forums and posting. Other bloggers are posting helpful links as well. It’s fun to find out there’s a blogger friend right up the road from you. They are even hosting a giveaway for a $20 Amazon.com gift card. You need to join the forum to enter. So, if you’re a TEXAS BLOGGER definitely check out BLOGGINGTEXASEVENTS.COM.
I promise I am going to do better posting. I am feeling a bit of renewed love for blogging, even though I got to the point where I loathed it. I don’t like to be on the computer all the time- it bores me. So I am attempting to limit myself a little, so when I DO post I am happy to do it!!
November has been a great month. Not that you could tell with my three whole posts… And one of those was about Halloween!
Livie, my sassy 4 year old, lost her first tooth!!! About a year ago she fell and hit her tooth on the stairs. It was slowly dying since then. So, 2 1/2 months shy of her 5th bday, Liv lost her tooth.
Lost tooth Livie!
We celebrated Alec’s 14th birthday. He had about 1/2 a dozen stinky boys over to spend the nite. We bought NINE pizzas and not a slice was left by morning. He also had a cool cake…
Alec Loves His Mommy
Funny thing is… Alec didn’t care. He was like, “So, I do love my mom.” That’s my boy!!
Birthday boy
Kelsea and Karlea turned 12. We miss them very much and wish some people weren’t so selfish.
Taj earned a ride in a stretch Hummer for selling 15 boxes of cookie dough! I can’t stand these types of fundraisers, but when he came home and said, “I’m going to sell 15 boxes of cookie dough so I can ride in a stretch Hummer!” Who am I to say, “No you aren’t.” He did all the work himself selling to neighbors and grandparents and uncles… He sold exactly 15! The day before the ride he came down with pink eye. I took him to the Minute Clinic at CVS. She said he needed to be on meds for 24 hours. It was 10am when I got his prescription. The Hummer ride was a 10:30am the next morning. So, even though the dr. wrote a “return to school” note for the 17th, you better believe Taj was there for his Hummer ride at 10:30am on the 16th!! They picked up him and the other winners and took them to lunch at Chick Fil A. Taj said it was the “best day of his life!” I tried to get a good pic, but he was much too excited to actually stand still…
"I'm the most famous person in our family!!" - Taj
I have more November news, but I will put it into another post. We’ve had a busy month.

Dear Blog,
I’m so sorry I have been neglecting you. I think of things to post about and then I never do. It’s basically come down to me being lazy… or my self-diagnosed adult-onset ADD. I have started 3 different posts in the last 2 days. They are all in my draft folder. I apologize. I used to love to blog, but now it’s just kinda of the back burner. I will be back… eventually. Thanks for your patience.
So sorry,
Tori
I’m sure you noticed that I have been hosting several giveaways lately. I’m having a lot of fun reviewing these products and I think it’s a ton of fun hosting giveaways. But I don’t only HOST giveaways- I enter them as well. I enter several a week and you know what???? I’ve WON quite a few!!
So far I have won: a 16 x 20 poster made from the photo of my choice (Sei with his surfboard…), a kiddo’s book about ear infections, 2 kitchen rugs, a cute tutu for Livie and free laundry detergent. I wanna say there was one more, but I can’t remember what it was… And you know how I won them? I left a comment on the giveaway post. That’s it. ONE COMMENT. That’s not hard. I commented and then a week or so later I got an email saying I had won. 2 seconds of my time won Livie a tutu!!
So… this is for my regular readers… ENTER the giveaways! At least leave one comment because you never know- you may win… and it’s FUN!!! So… that’s all. Just thought I’d throw that out there. GOOD LUCK!
I wrote about the cool Uprinting Photo Contest. Wanna know how I learned about it? I mentioned that this blog and my Eazy Mealz blog is sponsored by Uprinting. The Uprinting Blog Sponsorship program is awesome and it’s been a very rewarding experience being apart of this program. They are easy to work with, answer my questions, and host awesome giveaways! I also believe that because of their sponsorship my blog traffic has increased. I also won a 16 x 20 in a Uprinting giveaway my bloggy friend was hosting thru their sponsorship program. So I know firsthand that Uprinting does great work!

LAME BLOGGER: I have been so lame about commenting on blogs. I really have. It’s not that I don’t love y’all. I am just lazy. I don’t feel like commenting. But I AM reading. I am just lame. I see a lot of y’all on Facebook so I feel like I’m still connected… That’s all. Don’t hate.

LAME MOM: So, Tristan got a detention. He brings the slip to me, I look at it and start laughing uncontrollably. The teacher had written:
For some reason that just struck me as hilarious. Not a non-drugs campus or weapon-free campus or whatever. A “Non-gum chewing campus.” So… yes. Instead of reprimanding my child for his rebellious gum chewing (gum I supplied him) I laughed at his teacher. Niiiiiiice.

LAME MOM again…: Alec has started riding his bike to school because he likes to stop at a friend’s house to play basketball before school. This morning I was taking Tristan to school and passed Alec playing. He had on his Kobe jersey, so instead of yelling something like, “Have a great day at school son!” instead I rolled down my window and yelled, “KOBE SUCKS!!!!!” The kids were all shocked thinking “Who is that crazy lady!?” but then Alec laughed and yelled back at me something like “MOM, DON’T HATE!!” Better than, “Mom, I hate you!” I am such an embarrassing parent. lol

LAME WIFE: I left my husband home with Liv and Taj on Saturday for a girls nite out. Some of my friends and I were going out for my bday. I just felt bad because when I left he was cussing at a ceiling fan he was trying to hang. I brought him cheesecake to make up for it though…

LAME POST: Yeah, my bad…

First I wanna give a “Shout Out” to my PRESERVE GIRLS. I had a ton of fun Saturday and I really appreciate y’all thinking of me!!

I finally got to relieve some stress this weekend. Sei took me to the shooting range so I could try out my new gun. I LOVED it. I told Sei anytime he wants to take me there as a date, I’m game. When we first got there I suddenly got really nervous and unsure of myself. I also felt like I was dressed wrong because I didn’t have any camoflague on like the men there- lol. But by the end I was feeling a lot better. And I didn’t suck too terribly bad, so that’s always good too…. At least I hit the blue… And no Omar, I wasn’t aiming for the crotch, but hey- I’ll take it!!
The funniest thing I heard at the range?? A man was talking about how he had taken all the CHL classes so he could carry a concealed handgun if he paid his state fees. But there was no way he was gonna pay the state anything because “That’s like payin’ to go to church!” I ? Texas.

*So… yesterday a certian Mama of Glitter stopped by my house. Yes- I got to hang with Glittersmama for a few hours at my house!! Jealous?!? I had the honor of meeting GM in Oregon this past summer. I really like her. She’s very mellow and has a good sense of humor. I liked having the 1-on-1 time with her. I also got to meet the famous Glitter. Livie couldn’t stop talking about “playing with her friend.” While they were playing Liv kept calling Glitter “friend.” “Friend, come here.” “Friend, wanna play with my kitchen?” I corrected her several times, but by the time GM and Glitter left, Glitter was answering to “Friend.” It was pretty cute! Thanks GM for making time for me in your awesome road trip! What a fun adventure!! (Pictures will be here soon. GM took some…)
* 4 out of 5 of the Jones Quints are home now. Welcome home Jack, Ryan, Brooklyn and Lila!!
* Livie went with Sei to my dad’s office the other day and has been talking about playing with the rubber stamps since then. She brought home a paper stamped with my dad’s signature, “TAXPAYERS COPY”, etc… and she thinks it’s the coolest thing. I’ll have to get her some stamps.
*There’s still some questions I need to answer from my post a few posts back…
Glittersmama asked:
What do you eat for breakfast? What are good Atkins-worthy snacks?
Well… when I wasn’t totally cheating like I have been for 2 weeks I would eat some bacon or eggs for breakfast. But right now I’ve been stuck on Rice Krispies and I really need to get back on to Atkins. For some reason when I cheat I cheat BAD. BAD. So… I need to reign myself back in. Favorite snacks on Atkins: Bacon. It’s like candy when you can’t have candy. I also like devilled eggs and you can eat jello too.
Nancy asked:
How often do you floss?
I’m really bad about flossing. Maybe once a month? But everytime I go to the dentist they say “Wow! Your teeth look great. We can always tell the flossers from those that don’t.” Yessssssssss…. On the otherhand, Sei is a maniac flosser. I gave him a bag of floss at Christmas.
Do you ever go to bed without washing off your makeup?
NEVER. It grosses me out. Even if I fall asleep on accident if I wake up I will get up in the middle of the nite, wash my face and brush my teeth. I MUST!!!
Lauren asked:
Do you like meat loaf?
Well… generally I’d say “no” because anything named “Meat Loaf” has to be gross. But I do like MY meatloaf.
Or did you mean the singer???

I’ll answer some more later. I’m taking it sloooow. ![]()
Could I ask for prayers from y’all? There’s some major crap going on here. No details- sorry. But I will say it has to do with a stack of papers (filled with a load of lies) we were served from Canada a few days ago. Seiuli’s an awesome father- no matter what kind of crap some people want to make up. Y’all all know that, as does ANYONE who knows Seiuli. It makes me sick that people would tell lies just to get more money??? And by taking all that money a family is left wondering if they are going to have to sell their home, uproot their family yet again, etc… No Tad Award is big enough.

I guess I should tell a little more about my family. I’ve been married to my soulmate for 4 1/2 years now. We both had to go thru a lot to find each other, but it was all so worth it. I have 3 kids from my 1st marriage – a son, age 11, another son age 9 1/2 and a daughter age 7. My husband has twin daughters from his 1st marriage. They are 5 months older than my daughter. They live in Canada. We use to get them for 3 weeks every couple of months. But now that they are in school it’s more like spring break, a month in the summer and Christmas. Man, I wish they had been this age when we got married. It was so hard having three 3 year old girls and only one that liked me. The twins were, well I don’t know how to put this nicely… umm, a lot like their mom? That would be spoiled, whiney, and haters of me. But now they like me and we get along great! They get that I am a VERY sarcastic person and when I say I’m gonna lock them in the closet I’m just kidding. Now I can make fun of their Canadian accents “eh” and they make fun of my southern accent. Anyway- my husband and I have 2 children together. Our son is 2 1/2 and our daughter is 8 weeks old. I did what I said I was going to do- I’ve had all my kids before I turned 30- with a few months to spare. Once you start, you might as well hurry up and finish.
