So… the concert was wonderful. We got home late. When I went to bed I thought I’d be up so early since that’s what I was used to. Um, ok, NOT. I slept until 9:50am!! I haven’t done that in FOR.EV.ER. It was wonderful, refreshing, yay! I almost felt guilty because I knew Sei was up early with the kids. But that feeling passed quickly.

My BIL took us to lunch at a barbecue place and it was sooooo good. In line “red beans and rice” was on the menu. So of course I busted out with Baby Got Back “Gimme a sister, can’t resist her. Red beans and rice dihn’t miss her….” My BIL looked at me like I was crazy, but the girl in front of us turned around laughing. Later I saw her at the drink station and she pointed to my new concert tee and asked, “How was the concert???”

After lunch we went back to my sister’s home to wait for Gretch! to come by to visit. I’ve never met her, but I’ve read her blog and we email occasionally, so it was exciting! She is very pretty, thin, and very warm and friendly. We only got to hang out for a few minutes, but next time I come up we will hang out more. (You can see my new concert tee in this pic. “Property of Donnie Wahlberg.”) I don’t know what I’m doing with my leg in this picture. It’s the new, cool pose…
Independence, Missouri is not far from my sister so I asked S if she’d like to meet us there. There’s a lot of history in Independence so I wanted to go even if just for an hour. We met at an angel store- everything was an angel. I bought a few things including a policeman angel. It didn’t hit me until I gave it to Sei that it was like a dead cop. I told him it really meant, “Cops are angels…” We drove around Independence. I learned that Harry S. Truman lived there and helped run out black people. So, black people were run out and Mormons had an extermination order against them. Niiiiice. We drove by the RLDS temple that looked like a screw: We also saw a van with a sign on the side that said “Please take a picture of this sign.” So, I did.

These guys wouldn’t get out of the way when we were trying to go to the candy store:And I took this pic to humor my husband & Omar:
After the quick tour I bid S farewell and headed back to my sister’s to get ready for my flight home. All in all it was a great, fun, re-energizing trip. And I again want to thank NCS, Suzanne, S, Nobody, and Klin for the plane ticket to make this trip possible. Y’all are awesome. Thanks also to Sei for being so supportive and gladly watching the kids for the 36 hours I was gone. (Even though you didn’t really have a choice since you left me for 5 days while you went to Hawaii.) I ? you.

This will be my last post with pics from Oregon. It was just an awesome, awesome weekend. I told Sei it was probably the best weekend of my adult life that didn’t involve him. :) There are tons of great recaps- I’m kinda lame at stuff like that. I just know I enjoyed myself so much. I loved meeting Aubrey, Yvonne, Heffalump and Glittersmama for the 1st time. And I was stoked to be able to hang out with my twin, Nobody, Annie, Millie, Carronin, Klin, Amanda, Elastic, Carrot and Suzanne once again. I can’t wait til next summer!! Thanks again NCS for organizing the entire weekend. You are so awesome and I am blessed to call you my friend. ???

Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool… at Seaside with my triple chin.
The Gang (Carrot is hiding behind Klin.)
Outside the candy store at Cannon Beach. Because I’m a cool mom, I bought my kids a huge gummy rat, sour candy in a toilet with “plunger” suckers, and marshmellow pizza, hamburger and hot dog that looked, just…. wrong!!

Beautiful Multomah Falls that is all natural- except for the bridge. ;) My new IN REAL LIFE friend, Aubrey :) I ? Aubrey!!

A lot of these awesome photos were brought to you by my Ghetto Fabulous camera. Livie broke the battery door off and my genius twin gave me an idea how to fix it. Hairband + driftwood = The Coolest Camera at the beach! Don’t hate.

My favorite Summer Party ‘08 moments:

~ Eating lunch with Millie at the Isolation Table at Mo’s.

~ Blessing Heffalump’s baby girl with Fairy Godmother blessings. I blessed her with a booty.

~ Having my booty complimented and smacked a couple of times by fellow bloggers.

~ Late nite confession booth where we learned about man-handed wives of old boyfriends, run-ins with the cops and kisses with John Bytheway

~ Accidentally leaving Aubrey and Glittersmama behind in Seaside. We all thought one of the other parent’s had them… ;)

~ Asking if the waterfall was all natural or man-made and having my twin tell me, “It’s all real. Oh- except for the bridge.” She’s so cute.

~ Meeting my twin’s family and having her DH say, “Oh! Tori!!” in recognition when I met him. I also saw my Christmas card on their refrigerator.

~ Walking with friends to the little store that opened at 9-ish and closed at 5-ish to get my coke fix.

~ Having lines from my grandma’s romance novels explained to me. All I had to do was ask. ;)

~ Listening to Elastic say “She is sooo naive!!” and sing in Spanish in her sleep.

~ Hearing Millie yell, “SOILED IT! SOILED IT! SOILED IT!” and knowing instantly it was a Spongebob quote. Millie and I are kindred spirits when it comes to speaking thru quotes.

~ Not wanting to go to sleep on Sunday/Monday because I knew I had to leave in the morning. So we stayed up until almost 5am only to wake up at 6am. :(

Millie, Me and Yvonne (or “Why- vonn- ee” according to Tristan)
Me… on a big whale. What?
Amanda and myself channeling Bret Michaels. (Poor Yvonne trying to sleep…)

I ? Rock Of Love. (Hi S!)
The Gang minus Heffalump
(She left before all the crazy ladies stole her sweet baby!) Suzanne and Nobody at the back
Klin, Carrot, Elastic, Carronin, Glittersmama, Amanda, Yvonne, Millie, Aubrey, me, Annie, Twin!!

I was a big baby. The water was CooooooooLD!!!!
I think I said “I’m gonna cry!!!” about 30 times.
3 of my most favorite people:
NCS, Nobody and Suzanne
BIGFOOT!!!!!
Elastic, Millie, Me

A few highlites of the Oregon trip that will make no sense to anyone unless you were there, but I’m posting them anyway…

The word “flower” will never sound innocent ever again. “Do y’all know?”

Nobody is a PLAYA’!!! “You complete me….

I was the blog party ho. I slept with not one, but 2 women!!

Thanks to Annie and the sweeeeeet goggles she gave us, no one poked their eye out in all the craziness!

Being on the beach with all the surfers and what not (that’s for you Nobody) made me miss Sei immensely. My first walk down to the beach I wrote this in the sand. Another day Suzanne let me borrow her camera phone so I could send him a pic similar to this. Thanks again Suzanne. More to come….

I’m heading out tomorrow morning to go to Oregon! I’m goin’ to hang out with some bloggy friends including but not limited to: My Twin, Nobody and Suzanne. There will be 15 women total so it’s gonna be a par-tay!! I’ve met most of the women I am going to see, but I have not met 3 or 4 of them, including Yvonne!! Jealous???

My pre ordered copy of “Breaking Dawn” has not arrived and I am pi$ed. It is in my city post office right now, but I’m not sure if it’s out for delivery today or not. If it does not come in the mail I am heading straight to the store to get me a copy. I want to read as much as possible before I arrive in Oregon. I called Walmart yesterday to see if they had any copies in stock and after waiting on the line for 10 minutes I finally hung up. I could have driven to the store to check in that amount of time. Sheesh.

So… that is all. Wanted to give y’all the heads up that I won’t be around until probably Tuesday. I know you will miss my blog ads. Don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll have plenty to do to catch up when I get back. ;)

Ciao! (I have never used that word in my life but for some reason I felt like it.)

Word to your mother.

I’m out.

I remember one of my most exciting days of blogging, Oct. 30, 2006- No Cool Story tagged me for a meme. We, of course, have gone on to discover that we are like Sharon and Susan of The Parent Trap and are twins – seperated. Some wonder why I say No Cool Story is my twin or wonder if we are real life twins or sisters or what… Well, here is the proof:

** We both have an awesome magnet collection. For realz. Hers - – Mine

** We both like Linkin Park, Muse and other cool music like that.

** We both have May birthdays. (Duh! Of course we do. We’re twins!) The only differences are the dates (hers is the 28th mine is the 11th) and year.

** My birthday is her baptism-versary. How cool is that??? Without knowing it, she picked her online twin’s birthday to be baptized without even knowing she HAD a twin. That’s awesome. And I was baptized in May also!!

** We both have accents that our kids tease us about. She can’t say “horrible” and I can’t say “Didn’t, wouldn’t, couldn’t, shouldn’t or pan…”

** Our husband’s spoil us rotten. I think I am more of a brat than her though.

** We both had brain damage as teenagers, but now we are AWESOME!

** We both have WOO-HOO online personalities (herme) and then we are very demure, quiet and content to watch everyone else go wild in public.

** She’s short, skinny, beautiful and brown. And I’m also… short.

** When you compare our 11 year old pictures- you can totally see the resemblance. Compare her to 5th grade Tori!! We also look a lot alike in the pic above from Colorado last summer. ;)

** We both had umbilical hernias and surgery to correct it!!! You’ve gotta admit that’s kinda weird!

** Edited to add: We are also constantly saying “Hey! I was going to post about the same thing!!” Or, for example, she moved all her online awards to another blog page the same weekend I moved mine. Cool huh??

I’m sure there is so much more. I shall have to confer with my twin to see what else she can come up with, but these are the things off the top of my head. Kinda cool, huh??

Suzanne and I got home from Colorado late Saturday nite. I came home to this:

Yes- my baby’s arm in a splint. Isabel accidently popped Liv’s elbow out of the socket. The dr. popped it back in, but Livie was still babying it and crying so they x-rayed it. There were no breaks, but he put a splint on it for 24 hours just to be on the safe side. She was fine today, but I am never leaving home without my babies ever again… until the Def Leppard concert.
I have lots of things to share, but I’m just kinda worn out. (Too much partying- haha) So, I’m working on a post, waiting to exchange pics, Photoshop pics to protect identity, etc… I will let y’all know: We were able to surprise EVERYONE by bringing Thoroughly Mormon Millie with us!! She took a Greyhound for 20 hours to get to Salt Lake City. Then she rode to Colorado with Louise and me. (I get to be Thelma because it’s my blog.) So… that was awesome!! Annie personally invited Suzanne and I to a slumber party Friday nite at Carronin’s hubby’s hotel. We were so excited!! The ladies we were so blessed to meet with were Millie, No Cool Story, Annie, Carrot Jello, ElasticWaistbandLady, Carronin, and last but not least, Sodak!!
I must confess that I slept with Suzanne. We did everything kinda backwards. We slept together, then I kissed her. But you know what they say, “What happens in Colorado, stays in Colorado.”

And yes, I did get to get my pic made with the Mike the Headless Chicken memorial statue. I’m so cool.
