Thank you everyone for the emails or comments or texts… regarding mediation on Tuesday. The outcome wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for, but I feel it’s the best I could do under the circumstances. I’ve emailed some about it and posted it on my private blog. If you have not been able to read it I also have it posted on this blog, but it is password protected. If you’d like to read it please email me for the password. I am having to protect some of my posts because apparently my ex reads my blog. I don’t care really because everything I have ever written about him is true and he knows it. But I don’t want him to keep saying I am alienating him from “his” kids because I’m not. He does that himself. The kids don’t read my blog anyway!! But whatever…

This is my 8th Valentines Day with Sei and I love him more today than I did 8 years ago. I love him more today than yesterday. And I love Valentines day. I don’t know why- because honestly Sei spoils me about 95% of the year. Hence the name “Brat.” Anyway… this year I made my annual V-day shirt. Every year I design a shirt that says something about Sei. The 1st year it said, “I Heart Seiuli,”  then “Sei’s Angel” complete with wings, last year was “Got Sei?” etc… I love personalized shirts. Anyway… without furthere adieu I present this year’s shirt:

What was funny about this year is Sei and I both gave each other gifts that could potentially lead to divorce. Ok, not really, I’m exaggerating, but still… I bought him a massage. And if you know me AT ALL you know this is HUGE. I don’t like other people- especially women- touching my husband. But I thought I’d be ok since I picked the massage therapist and she was coming to our home. Ok, I took my mom to the airport and got back when Sei had about 10 minutes left in his massage. Walking into my house and seeing my man shirtless lying on a table while some chick rubbed on him… AWKWARD.  I couldn’t make eye contact with her or him until they were done. I wasn’t diggin’ it at all, but thankfully Sei’s back felt a lot better after getting all the knots out.

Sei bought me a Mavericks shirt and Dirk jersey to wear to the game he bought tickets for. We are going to the Lakers/Mavs game on the 24th. This game could be detrimental to our marriage. Sei’s a HUGE Lakers fan and I’m a huge Mavs fan/Fakers hater. This could be bad. I’ve already begged him to not be totally obnoxious. Pray for me.

For Vday I sent chocolate covered strawberries with Sei for the other officers. He had the nerve to share them with the dispatchers (aka ultimate badge bunnies… ). They are my nemesis!! But whatever. I also went to the PD while Sei was working and tagged up his car windows with things like “MY WIFE LOVES ME!!” and “HOTTIE!” Around 3am another cop told him, “I think your wife was up to some criminal mischief earlier. She had a young male accomplice…” lol I was glad he didn’t bust me earlier. I also had our 2nd annual family Vday dinner. I made heart-shaped meatloaf and rolls shaped as “X”s and “O”s.  I forgot to take pics, but it was a lot of fun. My sis-in-law made some super yum chocolate covered strawberries. I also made asparagus for the 1st time and I guess I did it right- everyone ate it. haha

All in all it was a great weekend!!

On another note… tomorrow I go to mediation with the ex. Please pray for me to be led in my decisions and for his heart to be softened so that the best interest of the CHILDREN is what he desires rather than his own personal interests. Thanks.

It’s true. Bad stuff happens to really good people. And sometimes it can really affect you financially.  This past year and half my husband and I have been hit hard. We’ve had both exes take up to court over stupid stuff. We’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars for just one of the cases. The other just started and I have a bill for $922 sitting on the counter– and we haven’t even DONE anything yet! I went outside to pick our money tree to find it was bare.

I know we aren’t the only ones with stuff like this in our lives. I know others have it much worse. The truth is if it weren’t for family and good friends Sei and I would have really bad credit because it would have all gone on cards and then we wouldn’t have had the money to make the payments!! Thankfully if you need to fix your credit because of hard times messed it up there are great credit repair programs. Of course, I’d prefer a program that helped jerk exes learn to live their own lives instead of bein’ all up in our’s, but… whatever.

I finally got around to making a montage of all the family skimboarding. However I was disappointed to find that a lot of the video I took apparently didn’t get uploaded to the computer. I thought I got everything off the card, but it’s not here. And the memory card is now in Canada because we used Karlea’s camera most of the time. Sad when a 10 year old has a better camera than you do…
Anyway… I have no way of getting the other videos. Even if I had them here, with the way Sei’s ex is we’d probably get sued for them and they’d end up in Canada anyway… Yes – I went there.
So… for your viewing pleasure I made a montage with the pics and videos I DID have. I’m sad because I know I had Alec doing his 270 and Sei doing a lot more tricks. I also had Sei and Alec going at the same time and it was so cute.

• “16 & Pregnant“: No, I’m not 16. And HELL NO, I’m not pregnant. “16  & Pregnant” is a new show on MTV. I’ve watched it a few times and I so DO NOT see the point of this show. Idk if they are trying to show kids how tough it is if you get knocked up or to glorify it and make being the next couple on the show a goal?? The episode I watched tonite the couple were thinking about adoption. The 16 year old boy’s dad told him that basically he thinks if they give the baby up for adoption he will always think his son didn’t “man up.” Maybe that’s because he’s NOT a man. He’s 16. And I’m not bashing on teen parents. I mean, hello, I wasn’t even 19 when I had Tristan. Maybe THAT is why I think this show is stupid. I was a young, teen mom… And for the record- I bawled watching this episode. The couple gave their baby up for adoption. The boy was crying right after the birth, holding his girl friend and telling her he loves her so much, they’re doing it for their baby, they can make it thru the adoption, etc… They were the most mature couple I’ve seen.  (And what’s with these girls fitting into their skinny jeans without exercise, diet, weight loss pills, nada?!??!)
• Recycled baby names: Today Isabel told me that her stepmom told her that if they (my ex & her) ever have a baby they will name it _____. I almost spit my Diet DP out. The name was a name on my list when I was pregnant with Isabel. I don’t care for ME. I’m never gonna use that name. In fact, I would never have even suggested it to use for Taj or Liv. Hello- it was a name on my baby name list with my EX-husband. That would just be weird. I wouldn’t want to name Taj or Liv a name that Sei and his ex had on a list for the twins. I feel bad for Isabel’s stepmom because I’m sure she doesn’t know it was on my list. I’M the one that came up with the name because I liked it on a mafia movie. Part of me hopes she finds out before (if) she has a baby and then Vengeful Tori thinks it’s kinda funny and would rather it come out after the birth certificate… Don’t y’all think that’s weird and kinda lame of him?
• Freakin’ Sunkist: I bought Livie a Sunkist like 3 days ago. I assumed she had finished drinking it. Welp, apparently not. Today one of the babies I watch found it and spilled it all over the carpet. Livie had put it in her toy kitchen and this kid found it. This baby has broke, ruined, stained… more things in our house this past year than my 7 kids combined. It’s very frustrating. And he poops atleast 3 times a day. Please shoot me.

• Tristan, Alec and Isabel are at the ex’s now. Let’s just hope there’s not a repeat of last summer.
• Sei and I went to dinner and a movie with my brother and SIL. Ok, DON’T see “Drag Me To Hell.” You will lose brain cells. I jumped a lot, but I think I laughed more than anything. A goat talked in it- if that helps you decide NOT to go see it. On a positive note, the “Mac” guy is in it. He’s cute.
• I have some major excitement coming up on my blog. I can hardly wait!!!! Visit Stitchblade Designs and Not So Average Mama for a clue. Not So Average Mama is also hosting another cool giveaway you should check out- especially if your child wears glasses!! Check it out HERE.
• Lakers are in the finals. I live with Sei- the Kobe fan. Gag. But I did read THIS and it made me feel a lil better. Please read some of the comments and take the poll!!
• I’ve been cutting carbs a lot and have lost a few pounds this week. I’ve been doing it without diet pills, but I’m not above using them. I wanna look good on vacation!!
• Taj found an old birdcage and naturally he has his pet FROG inside it. I love my Tajy.
• Speaking of Taj, he’s quite the swimmer. He’s been swimming floaty-less since last summer. This year he swims underwater a lot, which is cool but scares me at the same time. Here’s a short video of him. No looking at my husband.

1) When you’re making an online payment for something make sure you click the right box. Because if you accidently click the “Pay statement balance” and you still owe $7000 on your car, they are going to try to take $7000 out of your bank account. And you won’t discover this until you’re trying to buy chicken nuggets in the McDonald’s drivethru.

2) Some people suck. I can’t believe how bad some people suck. I tried to find a pic to post that would give a cleaned up version of a middle finger salute, but couldn’t. But if I did I’d be waving it to the north- and I’m not talkin’ about Oklahoma. (Or you, Yvonne!!)

3) Speaking of Yvonne!!! I got to hang out with her and her sweet hubby for a while yesterday. Jealous?? You should be!! Thanks again Yvonne! You’re awesome!
