I’ve bragged enough about my husband that you know he can play the piano by ear. You can see him playing on my Seiuli Saturdays. But what is kind of exciting is that I can see Taj and Liv have some of his talent. They both “hear” music differently. They can both pick songs out on the piano– nothing major or fancy, but they can. And Livie plays with all 5 fingers unlike most kids that are messing around on the piano. She also can remember songs easily. Here she is playing a little duet with Sei. She stuck stickers on the keys because she was afraid she would forget the notes!! haha What I find cool is she realizes when she’s off beat or when she hits a wrong note and she tries to correct it. I’m excited to see what the future brings for her and Taj with music.

I’ve posted a few videos of me from Youtube in the last few posts- like the one of my daughter and I signing “I Gotta Feelin’” at our family reunion and my ASL story video.   So, I’m going to post just a couple of videos I really like on Youtube. Some it will be obvious why, while others will just prove I am a spaz– if there was any doubt… ENJOY!

I should rename this “Seiuli Semi-Annual,” but whatever. My husband plays the piano at home all the time, but I rarely think to grab the camera. This time, I did. YAY!! Today he was playing MY requests which, of course, included some Aerosmith.

So, I was watchin’ him play and man… he’s hot. Just sayin’…

I apologize. It’s been a while since I’ve had a Seiuli Saturday. For those of y’all who are wondering who Seiuli is… He’s “The Badge.” You can click on the “The Badge’s Music” link at the top to learn more. He plays the piano beautifully completely by ear. He hears a song and can play it. It’s kinda disgusting, but totally HOT at the same.

So, today he’s back. This is Seiuli playing “Blurry” by Puddle Of Mudd.  Isabel has always LOVED this song, so Sei’s been playing it for years, but he was just messin’ around last week at my parents when I filmed this. So… here ya go. (And I didn’t sing during this one… Lucky you.)
