This is Alec… 3 1/2 years ago. He lost that front tooth and it took 16 months for the new one to grow in. He was a walking jack-o-lantern!! LOL I’m posting this pic because on Saturday he will be my 2nd TEENAGER. Am I old enough to have 2 teens!?!??! Alec is my sweet, sensitive, loving, not embarrassed to say, “Mom, you’re awesome!” in front of his friends, kid. This morning I jumped on his bed to wake him up and when I sat down on the side he just gave me a BIG hug. He’s awesome. Happy early birthday dude.

Should I be worried that this is my 10 year old’s hope and dream for 10 years from now? I think it’s just because she actually likes the food from there. I’m saving this forever and showing it to her on her wedding day… “So Izzy, did your life turn out the way you hoped? Are you livin’ your dream??” Kids are so awesome.

So, we’re painting some rooms in our house and my husband, well… he loves me. A lot. So, I was surprised one morning with this message on the wall:

So I, of course, left him a nice lil message too:

Well, my 5 yr old Taj, seeing all this romantic-ness goin’ on came to me last nite and said, “Mom, I painted you someping on the wall…” Yeah. Hmm…
